UXOcontrol is a leading international Unexploded Ordnance (UXO) contractor. We are looking for diligent and focused people to support our growing maritime UXO operations team. The role will require EOD certification, preferably ex-military NATO qualification, with experience in offshore renewables and target identification. We encourage service leavers to apply.
YOUR TASKS
UXOcontrol’s team undertakes large scale risk assessments each year for a wide range of customers in the maritime sector. This ensures that inshore and offshore developments can proceed safely and on time. Your role would be to support our UXO operations, allowing the team to focus on target investigation, removal, destruction and / or neutralisation of historic Explosive Remnants of War (ERW).
You will need to be flexible and be able to work independently, as well as being part of our team.
NL REQUIREMENTS
• Expert OOO (Certification Scheme for detecting explosive remnants of war) with a P20 certificate.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-754 Guidelines.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-681 Guidelines.
UK REQUIREMENTS
• NATO / Royal Navy EOD / Advanced EOD (8b1 / 8b8) qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-754 Guidelines.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-681 Guidelines.
GE REQUIREMENTS
• German §20 Licence.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-754 Guidelines.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-681 Guidelines.
• Knowledge of DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) – Quality Guideline for Offshore Explosive Ordnance Disposal.
PL REQUIREMENTS
• Polish / German §20 Licence.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-754 Guidelines.
• Knowledge of CIRIA C-681 Guidelines.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS
• Communication and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of the ALARP process.
• Awareness of IMAS 09.60 – underwater EO.
• A VCA VOL certificate.
• A BHV diploma.
• Full national driving licence.
• UK CSCS Card.
• IExpE or other relevant professional membership.
• CEN Workshop Agreement for EOD Competency Standards for Humanitarian Mine Action.
